This week's note from our Youth Director

Permission Slips and Forms

Hey everyone!

I just have a couple quick notes for you this week

1. Don't forget to come to youth group this week! We will be preparing cards for some church friends that are not able to make it out to see us. If you have any general Valentines themed cards please bring them! We always have trouble finding enough appropriate cards in the stack at church.

2. So I spent last weekend in Salisbury and attended Asbury UMC on Sunday. I met with their youth director and she invited us to join them and two other churches for a Lock-in at Crown Sports Center

Guys this event sounds FUN!!

there will be pizza, laser tag, "bubble soccer," and lots of other youth who were probably at the Rally with us!

You can find more information on these forms

Let me know ASAP if you are interested in going and have everything turned in by February 11.

Notes from last week that are still important.....

Our next big events are our Chesapeake Housing Mission work Day on May 12 and our ASP mission trip to West Virginia June 16-23.

The CHM project is open to all ages and levels of building experience. They are going to start asking me for numbers of people going and levels of expertise soon so let me know if you can make it! These are full day projects but if you can only give a limited amount of time we would still love to have you just please let me know of any limitations.

ASP is for students grades 8-12 who will be at least 14 years old by the time of the trip. We still have room on our team for YOU!

Check out the ASP section of the website for forms and information!

Adult Volunteers--
I still need you!!!
How often do you get to make a difference by just showing up? Seriously!
You must be at least 21, have attended St. Mark's for at least 6 months, and complete the very accessible Safe Sanctuary training. If you are interested please drop me a line!
I cannot do what I do without the proper number of adult volunteers so if you want to see this ministry grow maybe look in the mirror!

Thank you!!
