Music Ministries

The Jubilee Singers, members of our 8:15 congregation, gather in the hand bell rehearsal room on two Sundays per month at 7:30 am.  They rehearse and sing at the 8:15 am service, normally on the fourth Sunday of the month.
We have started St. Mark's Children's choir, but it's not to late to join us! Our new choir is K through 5th grade, The Children's Choir meets every Sunday starting at 9:00 am (before Sunday school) to practice and then sing in worship about every other month.



Our hand bell players, The Overtones, meet once a week,
on Wednesday evenings, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  The Overtones are featured  as special music on the second Sundayof the month.  They also play for various holiday services and special events in the community.





Our 9:30 contemporary service Music is provided by the "Reign Down" group.

The band practices on Sunday mornings for a hour prior to the service. This group sings September through May.


The Chancel Choir sings at the 11:00 am service and for special programs throughout the church year. They are accompanied by organist, Ranee Reitz.
 
Choir practice, during the months from September through May, is held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.  Choir also rehearses on Sunday mornings at 10:30am,  prior to the 11:00 service. Our Chancel Choir is directed by Mr. Scott Clausen.


Summer Singers, an off shoot of our Chancel Choir, meets several Sundays during the summer months when many of our Chancel Choir members are on hiatus.   Rehearsals run from 10:00 until 10:45am, with the presentation immediately following during the 11am service.  Schedules for Summer Singers are given out in the spring.
