The newest addition to our staff:
Becky Hoyer -- YOUTH PROGRAMS DIRECTOR
Until we can get a good picture of Becky we will use the one in the February Markings and a portion of the text from same.
Becky, our new part-time Youth Leader, and her husband Charlie are fairly new to the Eastern Shore, having moved to Easton in May. Becky grew up in CT, Charlie in St. Louis, and they met as students at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach. Both earned Bachelor’s degrees in Business and moved to
Nashville after graduation. They lived in Nashville for two years before moving east. They fell in love with the quaintness of Easton and the rest is history. They are working hard
making improvements on their new home. Pet lovers, they have a cat and two dogs and enjoy walking their dogs around town.
Becky worked as an Assistant Manager for Hertz, then as a Program Manager for Stewart Transportation and, for the last year and a half, as a Personal Banker for Bank of America. She loves being back near the water and, in what little spare time she has, enjoys horseback riding and playing the guitar.
Charlie and Becky became Christians while in college and say their lives changed drastically at that point. They attend the 9:30 service and look forward to meeting more of the church family. Becky has “hit the ground running” with the youth and looks forward to
sharing her faith and enthusiasm with them.
