Dr. Gil Anderson -- Visitation Minister

  Dr. Gil has many years of experience as a pastor, college teacher, counselor and dean, mental health administrator, psychologist, consultant and, more recently author. Gil recently published his first book, That’s Life, Deal with It. He has a B.A. from Taylor U., M.Div. from Faith Theological Seminary , M.ED. from the U. of Delaware and an Eddy. from the U. of Arizona.
  His career experience includes a private practice in personal and group counseling, and life and retirement planning. He has served as a consultant to many healthcare, education, corporate and religious institutions including Daimler Chrysler, General Motors, Health-South Rehabilitation Hospitals, nursing homes and churches.
  A frequent speaker to many organizations including the UMW at St. Mark’s, Gil has been a member of Rotary for more than 30 years. He is an active volunteer in the Oxford community where he resides with his wife, Ellen. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
